Each teacher gave a speech explaining why they selected the student for Porter Pride. The students received a certificate, an exclusive Porter Pride t-shirt, and a flower arrangement. Families of students also attended the event and had the opportunity to meet their child’s teacher. Staff members from different departments recognized students who embody what it means to be a Porter. The Porter Pride student recognition breakfast took place last Thursday, October 12th, in the Maroon Room at East Campus.
